FURNITURE WITH A STYLE

For the last three years, Knez Stil Ltd. has been engaged in the production of upholstered furniture. Our portfolio consists of 50 models of living room furniture, single beds and double beds. Our furniture is designed and manufactured to the highest standards using the finest quality materials.

The base of each piece of furniture is constructed out of solid wood and is covered with plywood. The parts are connected by screws and wood glue. Depending on a model, seat cushions and back pillows are made of a high-density foam, core wire and/or silicone filling. Depending on customers’ demands, the furniture can be covered in upholstery fabric, synthetic leather or calf leather.

All of our raw material suppliers have a certificate of quality, all their products have a detailed description of the composition and all products are proven to be environmentally friendly.




The production process is divided into several phases.
• The first phase involves the construction of basic frames out of wood and then covering those by using plywood and hardboard paneling. Our carpenter team is in charge of this part of production.
• Simultaneously with the first phase begins that second phase which involves fabric cutting and sewing. This part of work is done in two shifts by our tailor and sewing teams.
• The third phase of production is done by carpenter assistants and this phase refers to the preparation of furniture for the upholstery process. This preparation includes foam tailoring, wire cores fastening, cushions filling (with minced foam, cut foam, or silicone filling).
• The fourth phase is done in the upholstery department and refers to the processes of furniture upholstery and assembly.
• The fifth, final, phase includes the furniture quality control, packaging and preparation for transport.

Our experience has showed us that only if organized is such a way the production is guaranteed to be highly efficient and productive.

Our furniture manufacturing team consists of approximately forty employees of different profiles, and depending on workload and business size, we could hire additional number of workers.




We bring our range of products to the market through our own retail stores and wholesale customers.
Our furniture stores are located in Novi Sad, Belgrade, Indjija and Stara Pazova. We understand that every customer has specific needs and demands; thus, in all of our stores we offer to our customers an opportunity to buy furniture of any size and with any color combination. We offer the same opportunity to our wholesale customers in Subotica, Kikinda, Smederevo, Topola, and Backa Topola.



Knez Stil Ltd, as a manufacturing firm, has found its place on the market thanks to the idea to manufacture the upholstery furniture designed by its customers instead of to sell to the customers serial production furniture.

By manufacturing tailor-made furniture, we have not only succeeded to meet our customers’ demands, but we have also improved the efficiency of our production to the extent that we are now capable of producing any furniture line in record time. We also offer the opportunity to modify dimensions of each model, or to suggest to us brand new models that would meet your market demands.




In a short period of time, our company has found its way to succeed on domestic market which is mainly due to the fact that it is run by a single family. Each part of the production is controlled and monitored by one family member.

• Milena Babic is the owner and General Manager of the company and is responsible for managing the overall business.
• Stojko Babic, the owner’s son, 28 years old, is responsible for organizing the production which includes the production control and the procurement of raw materials.
• The owner’s husband, Borislav Babic, 50 years old, is responsible for controlling the products before the transport and for organizing the transport of the furniture to final customers.
• Dragana Knezevic, the owner’s daughter, 29 years old, married, mother of two, is responsible for bookkeeping and for regular daily communication with suppliers and wholesale customers.
• Dragan Knezevic, 31 years old, married, father of two and husband of Dragana Knezevic, is responsible for organizing the preparation of upholstery processes and acquisition of raw materials for the upholstery.

Apart from working together, the Babic Family also lives together is a harmonious community, which enables them to analyze the mistakes and achievements of each work day and in such a way to keep under control every part of their family business.

Dream and ambition of these two families is to expand business and pass it on to their inheritors.
